We addressed these needs with a tailored solution, delivering a functional and interactive website that simplifies information and event management, enhancing user experience and operational efficiency.

Challenge

Buildwise, a Belgian organization specializing in the construction sector, aimed to develop a website that would provide users in the industry with easy access to relevant information. The challenge involved creating a user-friendly interface while integrating a complex array of features. This included a comprehensive search functionality connected to ten different data sources, a content management system for extensive pages, and an event management system. Additionally, the website needed to be visually appealing with interactive elements like hover effects to enhance the user experience. Integrating the website with Buildwise's existing systems added another layer of complexity.

Solution

To address these requirements, we started with an in-depth analysis phase to thoroughly understand the client's needs. We then adopted an iterative development approach with sprints, incorporating regular feedback from the client. We implemented a robust search functionality linked to ten data sources to ensure data accuracy. A centralized content management system was created to streamline content handling, while a flexible event management flow was introduced, allowing users to both participate in and propose their own events. We also focused on visual enhancements, such as hover effects, to make the presentation of information more engaging. All of these features were seamlessly integrated with Buildwise's existing systems to ensure smooth operation.

Results

The final result is a user-friendly and functional website that allows Buildwise to efficiently manage their information and events. Users can easily find information, sign up for events, and propose their own events through a specially designed flow. The centralized content management system simplifies the handling of extensive content, and the integration with other systems ensures efficient operation. Visual improvements, including interactive elements, have enhanced the user experience, making information more accessible and engaging.

Feature Outlook

Several projects are planned to further enhance the website. The focus will be on optimizing user experience and expanding functionalities to meet the ongoing needs of both Buildwise and its users. Additional improvements to the interface and integration with new systems are also on the agenda to make the site even more user-friendly and efficient.
